I have dedicated the past 40 years to the writing craft, beginning as a 17-year-old sportswriter and music reviewer in Southern California. In 1996, I founded Word Journeys to assist other writers and authors achieve their publishing dreams. There is nothing I love more than to see a writer’s eyes light up when their book drops – or when they realize they’ve nailed their voice and story. It’s golden… and it’s my goal as your agent.
I am a multiple award-winning author, journalist, ghostwriter, editor, educator, and marketing and public relations consultant. I’ve helped hundreds of authors publish their books and stories in all fiction and non-fiction genres. My popular writing workshops, keynote speeches and classes have been attended by thousands at writers conferences, festivals, libraries, corporate communications seminars, learning centers, high schools and colleges nationally.
I take authors through all stages of the book writing process — and then switching gears to focus on getting the book published. I focus on all-important marketing, promotion and public relations, and assure my authors have the best possible results for their books and brand.
As an author, I have written, co-written or ghostwritten more than 20 books, including Voices, the Dollie Gray Award-winning Just Add Water, and the Independent Publishers Book Award-winning combo of Writes of Life and The Write Time. Ghostwriting efforts include Crawl of Fame, for Ironman triathlon legend Julie Moss; When We Were The Boys, for former Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger lead guitarist Stevie Salas, and much of Blockbusting, for legendary filmmaker George Lucas.
